TSYS Friday the 13th glitch

RBC Centura Bank and its clients found out all about Friday the 13th, when a computer glitch temporarily drained bank accounts in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and Alabama.

Many customers with debit cards found they could not access their accounts through ATMs or make purchases before 11 a.m. when the “glitch” was fixed. They were able to access accounts at teller windows.
